The member representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Anamero Dekeri, today, hosted the four ward executives of Okpella, reaffirming his commitment to sustained development across the constituency. The meeting, which brought together newly elected party executives and key leaders from the wards, also served as a platform for stakeholders to express support for Hon. Dekeri’s second-term ambition.
In his remarks, Hon. Dekeri congratulated the party for the successful congress and the executives on their emergence and charged them to provide leadership during their tenure. He urged them to remain committed to grassroots mobilization and party unity.
He further called on the executives and the people of the constituency to support the development initiatives of his Excellency senator Monday Okpebholo the executive govenor of Edo state, According to him, the governor’s “SHINE Agenda” has continued to drive notable infrastructural and socio-economic development across the state. Hon. Dekeri also emphasized the need for strong political collaboration ahead of future elections, encouraging party members to work towards delivering the 2.5 million votes pledged to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Most of the speakers at the event commended the lawmaker for what they described as his impactful leadership and people-oriented programmes since assuming office. They noted that his representation has brought visible progress to the constituency and urged him to sustain the momentum.
Other speakers, however, noted that while Hon. Dekeri’s representation has been commendable. No human being is perfect. They advised that as he continued his consultation for second-term ambition, he should reach out to anyone who may have felt offended in the course of his service while also assuring him of their continued support.
One of the speakers, Hon. Abass Jega, praised Hon. Dekeri’s leadership style describes him as selfless and committed to the welfare of his constituents. He added that the constituency “has never had it this good” and called for continued support for the lawmaker. The meeting was attended by all newly elected ward executives, alongside five leaders from each ward in Okpella.
At the end of the engagement, participants expressed satisfaction with Hon. Dekeri’s performance and pledged their unalloyed support for him. Hon. Dekeri, in turn, assured the people of more infrastructural development beyond 2027.
